TF10 Fever Takes Hold With Test Drives Worldwide

San Francisco, California - April 29, 2019 - The TF10 foiling trimaran takes flight once more this week on San Francisco Bay in California. Test drives are scheduled for later in the week, and up to three TF10s will participate at the Great Vallejo Race (GVR) hosted by the Great Vallejo Yacht Club on May 4-5.

The first mention of a race came in 1925, when PICYA organized a cruise from Berkeley to Vallejo on a Saturday, to be followed by a race back on Sunday. This is probably the official origin of the Great Vallejo Race, now reputed to be one of the largest inland regattas in the United States, usually drawing 200+ boats annually.

Now under the aegis of the Yacht Racing Association, the two day race marks the official opening of the San Francisco Bay racing season. To stay on top of everything GVR, visit the official website of the Yacht Racing Association of San Francisco: https://yra.org/2019/04/26/2019-great-vallejo-race/.

While the West Coast has been anxiously awaiting its May demo days, plenty has been happening back at the home of the TF10 in Holland at DNA Performance Sailing with the delivery of Mad Max — a stunning racer with colors to match. Check out this launch video: https://youtu.be/FfSiTs5J96c

Test drives are also actively taking place on the East Coast of the United States in Palm Beach, Florida through the first of June.

Post the Great Vallejo Race and Palm Beach, teams will migrate north to Newport, Rhode Island for the Summer racing season, where another TF10 delivery is slated for July 2019. Test drive opportunities will be taking place in Newport during the Summer/Fall months. For more information about these opportunities, please contact the TF10 Class Administrator.
